DEMER Justice Research and Training(DEMER) is a consulting firm for legal research and training that encapsulates a wealth of experience in the justice sector. Established in 2019 by a well-recognized expert in the justice sector, Dr Menberetsehai Tadesse (the former Deputy Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia and former judge of the COMESA Court of Justice), DEMER specializes in justice and legal studies, dispute resolution, research, training and justice reform.
DEMER provides research and training services on various subject areas including on different aspects of civil justice, criminal justice and administrative justice. Justice reform, court technology, human rights, litigation, land issues, contract enforcement, business law and medico-legal are some of the areas on which we have extensive experience.
About The Founder
- Dr Menberetsehai Tadesse
Dr. Menberetsehai Tadesse is the former Deputy Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court of Ethiopia and a former judge of the COMESA Court of Justice. He currently serves as a justice reform consultant in international and domestic courts and other government organs. He also teaches criminal justice in the post graduate program at Addis Ababa University. He has extensive knowledge and experience in justice reform and court modernization as well as in teaching, judicial education and justice research.
